Stat-Line Industries was incorporated in 1987 as a distributor of new ambulances. The current owner, Allan Assaf, took over the business in 1989. The business was run down and had about $350 worth of inventory at that time. It had no customers and very few key vendors.

His father owned a private ambulance service and Allan was use to repairing the mechanical end of his father's ambulances during summer breaks from school. Hoping he could count on his father's mechanical buisness he started the business like an automotive shop. At the time we had Whelen, Weldon, Code3 and Ferno as vendors. As we worked on ambulances only and started to become the go to source for any and all parts on the ambulance.

We started building inventory on hard to find parts such as door handles, a/c parts, high idle parts and a myriad of parts that you could not run down to the local parts store and find.

Of course we always maintained an inventory of lenses and bulbs for the emergency vehicles as well. As the business grew, Allan eventually led the business into a direction of servicing only emergency vehicles. We specialized in the electrical and otherwise difficult jobs that most shops would not touch. We added the medical supplies that go in the ambulance and even at times sold new and used ambulances.

Since police and ems use the same lights we started selling to police officers as well. We are now one of only 2 approved shops in Jacksonville, Fl that are allowed to do installs on police cars. We run an ambulance remount facility as well. At the end of the day, we specialize in emergency vehicles.

We have sold parts for, serviced, and at times even manufactured fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, specialized low speed fire/ems vehicles, and even utility vehicle lighting. After 23 years we have become specialist in emergency vehicles.
